	There are a few terms and conditions that members need to be aware of. In this section, we take a look at the policies that apply to children.

Children are most welcome at &BEYOND reserves, subject to the following terms:

Children are classified as such if they are 16 yrs & younger.
Our recommended age for children travelling to our reserves in East and Southern Africa is 8 yrs & older
The normal &BEYOND policy is that rooms at lodges may only have 2 occupants.
3 people are permitted to share a room at a lodge where triples are possible (provided one of the 3 occupants of the triple is 16 yrs and younger).
As a special exception, even where a triple is N/A, guests may have a child share their room if the child is younger than 2 yrs and sleeps in a cot
Distances between rooms will be taken into consideration when booking children into their own room in lodges where triples cannot be accommodated.
Early dinners for children are always available.
Shortened game drives (free of charge) may be arranged at the lodge subject to availability of vehicle and rangers.
These services cannot be prebooked.
All terrain vehicles, canoes, mekoro, and boating activities are available to adults of 16 yrs & older only.
Canoeing is applicable at &BEYOND Phinda lodges and &BEYOND Matetsi Water Lodge.
Mekoro are applicable at &BEYOND Sandibe Safari Lodge and &BEYOND Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp
All terrain vehicles are applicable at &BEYOND Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge.
Boating activities are applicable at &BEYOND Matetsi, &BEYOND Sandibe and &BEYOND Nxabega.
Childminders are available in the evenings, as well as during game drives, but are subject to the following conditions:
- Must be booked on the day of arrival at the lodge.
- Must be paid directly at the lodge upon departure (R 20 or USD 5 per hour)
  Videos, colouring books, etc. are available for children.
&BEYOND Mnemba Island Lodge
- Lunch for children 5 yrs & younger will be served in the dining room between 12h00 and 12h45.
- Dinner for children 5 yrs & younger will be served in the dining room between 18h00 and 19h00.
- No children 5 yrs & younger are allowed in the bar area at any time.
- The Island can accommodate a maximum of 2 children at any one time.
